Why this matters

Every minute you spend jumping between Klaviyo, Recharge, and Shopify is a minute you could spend growing sales. The Edit Subscription modal lets you cancel, skip, or change a customer’s subscription right from the ticket—no extra tabs, no re-typing data, and far fewer mistakes.

Typical wins for small stores
• Skip next month’s shipment for a holiday without losing the customer forever
• Add an extra item quantity before the order ships, saving a reship fee

30-Second Quick Action

  1. Open the customer’s Helpdesk ticket
  2. Click Subscription in the right-hand panel
  3. Click the tri-tip selector and click Cancel Subscription or Edit Subscription
  4. Make your change (edit quantity, skip, cancel)

Before You Start (1-Minute Check)

✓ Recharge is already integrated with Klaviyo
✓ You’re logged in as an Owner or Admin (you already have permission)
✓ The order is less than 60 days old and not fully shipped

Estimated time: 3–5 minutes per change

Step-by-Step

  1. Open Helpdesk > click the customer’s ticket.
  2. On the right, find the Subscription card and select Edit subscription.
    • If the button is greyed out, hover for the reason (usually “order fully fulfilled”).
  3. In the Items tab
    • Use + / – for quantity changes.
  4. Go to Status
    • Choose Skip (moves renewal forward one cycle) or Cancel (stops it).
    • Pro tip: Use Skip when the customer just needs a short break—keeps revenue and churn low.
  5. Click Save changes. A green confirmation banner appears and Klaviyo posts a note to the conversation.

FAQ

Q: How long do I have to undo?
A: 5 minutes after you hit Save.

Q: Can I issue a refund here?
A: Not yet—do that in Shopify or Recharge.

Q: Does skipping keep my analytics clean?
A: Yes. Recharge shifts the renewal date, so you keep the subscriber without skewing churn.
