Learn how to see how automation messages will appear to customers as well as how to test the entire automation without turning it on.
Before you begin
Please note that the preview can be slightly different than the live experience.
Compared to when automations are turned on, the preview does not:
- Show shortened links
- Catch any typos
Preview an individual message
Previewing an individual message shows you how it will appear to customers:
- Click into that message.
- Select the Preview tab in the right sidebar.
- Review your message.
Walk through the automation
With automations, you also have the ability to test the entire experience.
Previewing an automation is simple.
To preview an automation:
- Navigate to the automation.
- In the upper right, click the preview button.
- Test the automation by typing in responses.
- Once you reach a recommendation, you can restart the preview by selecting Reset Preview.
